Raków Częstochowa Are Champions of Poland!

We have a new champion of Poland! In the 2022/2023 season, Raków Częstochowa proved to be the best PKO BP Ekstraklasa team who have dethroned Lech Poznań. The team led by coach Marek Papszun sealed their victory three rounds before the end of the competition. For the club from Częstochowa, it is the first title in history. The Polish Football Association extends its heartfelt congratulations to Raków, together with best wishes for success in qualifying for the group stage of the Champions League in the 2023/2024 season.

Kacper Tobiasz Named Best Player of Fortuna Polish Cup Final

Goalkeeper Kacper Tobiasz was voted the best player of the Fortuna Polish Cup final, in which Legia Warszawa defeated Raków Częstochowa at PGE Narodowy after a series of penalty kicks. The score was 0-0 in the regulation time and the extra time also did not decide the game. The award for the best player of the Fortuna Polish Cup final was presented by the Sports Director of the Polish Football Association (PZPN), Marcin Dorna, as well as Maciej Koprowicz, a representative of FORTUNA Online Zakłady Bukmacherskie

Legia Warszawa Win Fortuna Polish Cup!

Playing short-handed almost the entire match after a red card for Yuri Ribeiro, Legia Warszawa beat Raków Częstochowa after a penalty shootout in the final of the Fortuna Polish Cup. The main hero of the Warsaw team was Kacper Tobiasz, who defended the penalty kick taken by Mateusz Wdowiak. For Legia, it was their twentieth triumph ever and their first in a cup competition after a five-year break.

Almost one million PLN per season for Orlen Ekstraliga and Orlen 1. Liga clubs!

Exactly PLN 889,000 for one season alone shall be awarded in total to the clubs of the two highest divisions of women's football in Poland. This is more than half a million PLN more than before. The additional prize money is the result of the Polish Football Association's investment in women's football and the implementation of its recently adopted strategy.  

A historic day. Women's football strategy officially unveiled

On Thursday (2 February), the Women's football strategy for 2022-26 was officially unveiled at PGE Narodowy. This is the first document of its kind in the history of Polish football, and its implementation and the fulfilment of its key objectives are expected to contribute to making the development of women's football in our country more dynamic.

On Thursday 2 February, at the PGE Narodowy, the Polish Football Association will present the "Women's football strategy in Poland for 2022-2026". This is the first such comprehensive document in the history of the association, setting out the goals and directions for women's football to influence its popularisation and development throughout the country.
