Robert Lewandowski will not play against England

Robert Lewandowski will not play in Wednesday's match against England in London in the European Qualifiers for 2022 World Cup due to injury. Clinical and imaging tests revealed strained collateral ligament in his right knee. The short time remaining before the next national team match precludes the participation of the national team captain in this game. This would involve too great a risk of aggravating the injury. Such a decision is the only right one, bearing in mind the upcoming EURO 2020 tournament.
