The head coach of the Polish national team, Czesław Michniewicz, has announced the list of players called up for the final tournament of the World Cup in Qatar. The Polish national team defeated the Wales team in an away match in Cardiff in their final UEFA Nations League match. The game-winning goal was scored in the second half by Karol Świderski, assisted by Robert Lewandowski. The points won by Czesław Michniewicz's players allowed the White-and-Reds to remain in the top division for the next season. Meanwhile, the Welsh, who have scored just one draw in six matches, were relegated.

In their fifth Nations League group match, the Polish national team lost 0-2 to the Netherlands at the PGE Narodowy Stadium. The goals for the away team were scored by Cody Gakpo and Steven Bergwijn. The Poles will play a match against Wales in Cardiff on Sunday, the stakes of which will be the place in Division A.
