Legia dropped out of the Europa League
Legia Warszawa lost with Ajax Amsterdam 0:3 in the second leg of Europa League round of 32. Two goals were scored by Arkadiusz Milik, Polish national team's striker, who netted in the 11th and 43th minute of the game.
Legia will face Ajax in last 32 of the Europa League
Legia Warsaw will play Ajax Amsterdam in 1/16 of the 2015 Europa League. The draw was held in Nyon, Switzerland. As a seeded team, Legia will firstly face Ajax in Amsterdam on 19th of February 2015. The second leg will take place a week later, on the 26th of February.
Poland 40th in the FIFA world ranking
Polish national team places 40th in the new FIFA ranking. Poles moved up four spots since the last edition published on October 23, 2014.
