The Foundation for Children with Diabetes awarded by the UEFA Foundation.

The Foundation for Children with Diabetes has been awarded the UEFA Foundation for Children Award. The European federation honoured the Polish organisation for its fight against the exclusion of diabetic children from football. The Foundation will receive a prize of more than 50 thousand euros, which it will be able to use to achieve its primary goals.

UEFA appoints Zbigniew Boniek as its vice-president

The chairman of Polish Football Association Zbigniew Boniek has been appointed vice-president of the Union of European Football Associations. Furthermore, his membership in the UEFA Executive Committee has been extended for another four years. Mariusz Rumak and Miłosz Stępiński are the new coaches of youth national teams

Polish Football Association informs that Mariusz Rumak has become a new coach of Poland national under-19 team. On Tuesday's meeting, the Management Board of PZPN decided that Miłosz Stępiński will be the coach of the U-20 team.

Poland national team captain and Bayern Munich striker, Robert Lewandowski, was awarded the Commander's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta "for outstanding sports achievements, for promoting Poland on the international stage". He received the award at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw from the President Andrzej Duda.
