MARCIN DORNA'S TOURNÉE AROUND GERMANY AND THE NETHERLANDS

During last weekend, Marcin Dorna visited Poles playing in Germany and the Netherlands. The manager of the Polish under-21 National Team watched Werder Bremen, Arminia Bielefeld and Twente Enschede matches.

The most important point of Dorna's departure to Germany was a Saturday match between Werder Bremen and Borussia Moenchengladbach. Two Poles play for the former: Ludovic Obraniak and Martin Kobylański. “After the match, I spoke to the coach Nawałka and I gave him  a detailed information sheet about the performance of Ludovic. It was very nice to see how the player determines the fate of the match and scores a beautiful goal from a free kick,” said Dorna.

The coach admits that the purpose of the trip was to observe his U-21 players. “First of all, I went to Germany to watch the players under the age of 21. I closely watched the performance of Martin Kobylański, who came off the bench in the 69th minute and gave a good performance. After the match, I had a chance to talk with him briefly. This is another round when Martin played a good match. More and more often he gets more chances from coach Dutta. I am glad that he is gaining experience and has the opportunity of continuous development,” he said.

The Olympic team manager also visited Arminia Bielefeld, where Kacper Przybyłko is currently playing. The representative of the Olympic team came off the bench in the 70th minute of the match with SC Paderborn, which Bielefeld lost. “In the first game of the spring round of the 2. Bundesliga, Kacper played well against St Pauli. Although he was on the pitch for only 25 minutes, he scored two goals. The match with Paderborn was very difficult  for Kacper and the whole team because Arminia's team one man short since 35th minute. Kacper entered the pitch at a time when his team was losing 0-3. Despite that, it was obvious that he put a lot of effort in. The appropriate number of minutes spent on the football pitch will allow him to further develop his skills,” the U-21 coach summed up.

When travelling to the Netherland, Dorna visited Filip Bednarek, the Twente Enshede player. The goalkeeper of U-21 team played 90 minutes in the second Dutch league match between Twente and VVV Venlo youth teams.
