Kamil Grosicki says farewell to the Polish national team

Kamil Grosicki has announced that the final play-off match for World Cup qualification against Sweden was his last appearance for the Polish national team. "I'm glad I was able to come back and help the team, at least to some extent, in important moments," wrote Grosicki, who played 101 times for the national team.
The 37-year-old player had already retired from the national team once before, during the 2024 European Championship. Later, however, he decided to play for the national team again, and head coach Jan Urban took advantage of that decision by calling up the Pogoń Szczecin player.
"Grosik" scored 17 goals for Poland.
