Friday evening at the Superauto.pl Silesian Stadium was not only an opportunity for the Polish national team to secure a win over Moldova, but more importantly – a chance to bid a fitting farewell to one of the white-and-red legends. Kamil Grosicki played his final match in national colors, and the crowd in Chorzów did everything they could to make sure he remembered the moment for the rest of his life. In a special gesture of gratitude, Robert Lewandowski even interrupted his vacation to appear at the stadium. The white-and-reds paid a worthy tribute to their legend and went on to defeat Moldova 2-0, with goals from Matty Cash and Bartosz Slisz.
