Announcement of the Polish Football Association | 14 November 2025
Following the events that took place in the stands during the Poland-Netherlands match at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw, the Polish Football Association would like to firmly state that it does not accept any illegal conduct at stadium grounds. In particular, the firing and throwing of flares is strictly prohibited — such actions are unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
Safety at stadium grounds is a priority. The security services, working together with the police, make the final decisions on who should not be allowed to enter the premises. They are also responsible for conducting checks in such a way as to prevent dangerous items from being brought into the stadium. All these issues are analysed in detail after the match.
We would like to thank all the fans who supported our national team in a good spirit. Their attitude clearly expressed their opposition to the use of flares.
